In this second round of the "Vote to List" initiative, Binance users have the power to choose their favorite 12 projects from a pool of 18 nominees. The winners will be determined after a 48-hour voting period and will secure their spot on the exchange. Unfortunately for PI enthusiasts, their token is not part of this round.

The Pi Network community had been holding out hope for inclusion, but it seems their wait continues. The current lineup of contenders includes tokens like VIRTUAL, BIGTIME, UXLINK, MORPHO, ZETA, and ONDR, all of which are recognized for their practical applications and potential impact.

Binance's decision to exclude PI stems from their focus on promoting tokens built on the BNB Chain for this campaign. Since Pi Network operates on its own blockchain, it doesn't fit the bill. The market capitalization has also fallen to $3.75 billion, a drop that can be partly attributed to the upcoming release of 126.6 million new PI tokens this month, which will impact the circulating supply and, consequently, the price.
