Smoke drifts away, flowers wither and vanish.

Once, the sky was blue, the water clear, the trees green. A group of carefree girls smiled, their plaid skirts swaying, and summer slipped away.

But yesterday passed without notice; we avoided saying goodbye, knowing that looking back might not bring us together. Reach out to touch, but it's gone. Where have those flowers gone? How have you been this year?

That girl with the crooked smile—does she still laugh, her eyes shining? The sentimental one—is she still writing her feelings? The stray cat that found a home—does it still smile at life with a grateful heart? The grumpy fat girl from Tianjin—is she still stubborn, her character set in stone?

Dare not look back, afraid tears will fall a thousand times. But summer is destined to end. Watching people come and go on campus, how can it not touch your heart?

Remember that year? Everyone was so serious, so sad. In April, some were already doomed to fail the college entrance exams—too young, too unprepared. The rest of us worked hard, struggling for the few spots in key schools. We promised to work together. In September, we'd meet again... in the sand? But you know, parting is inevitable. Who knows what will happen? That last class, no teacher, the classroom in chaos. Autograph books had been wet with tears. Someone, I don't remember who, from our class—Class Four—suggested we sing "Tomorrow Will Be Better." And we did. But will it really be better? In that restless time, like a skylight, the path ahead was broken. One stands at a crossroads, not knowing where those memories will lead. Panic, like vines, grew uncontrollably. In July, often cried at night. In front was darkness; tried to catch something, but when the hands opened, there was only air.

Some say graduation is a window—we crash through it, stepping on sharp shards, and with blurred flesh and blood we start a completely different life.

In the past year, experienced so much. Just want to say: parting is for a better reunion tomorrow. But who can tell us when we will meet again?
